Description: This is a very rare SINGLE cadet dress gray chevron for (I believe) a COLONEL or REGIMENTAL COMMANDER of ALL CADETS Following the admission of women to the Corps of Cadets for the first time, 1 July 1976, all rank insignia for the Dress Gray and the Full Dress Coats were reduced in height to be proportionate to the shorter female upper arm.
