Description: SINGLE Japanese Figural Salt Pepper Shaker Sterling Silver Sanshin Shamisen Vtg --- Only ONE and NOT a pair (I'm not sure if this was the salt or pepper). NOTE that one of the three strings is MISSING (it would be a sterling wire that wraps around a tuner and the end piece like the other 2 strings). You can also see how the tuners are bent. The top surface of the body is dented a little. Measures about 4.25" long. Neck is stamped Sterling 950 (a bit more pure than regular 925). Back of body has a small sliding door where you fill with salt or pepper, the shaker holes which are on the left edge of the top of the body. The sliding door opening is about 8mm square. When I found this I didn't think of a salt or pepper shaker but rather a pill box or something to hold maybe something scented (it's clean and dry inside so it must be for salt I suppose).
