Description: Gently used an in very good condition - with original cushioned, leatherette protective pouch. This is the "Galen Rowell" design gradient neutral density filter that fits the Cokin-P holder - via a lens adapter ring. The gradient is a 3-stop-hard edge. It is ideal for darkening a bright sky under 'magic hour' conditions (sunrise - sunset) where the color of the sky can be amazing. This filter was required for 'balancing' the very bright sky with an otherwise subdued foreground - bringing the proper exposure for both with the D-max range of color slide film. It can also be used with digital providing the same effect. The clear portion of the filter does have a few light scratches. These do not affect the acquired image as the plane of the filter is so far from the depth of focus.
