Description: Nice old 1952 Singer Featherweight 221 sewing machine. Incudes the shown case, foot pedal and cords, bobbin cover, attachments and small tools. Very clean and runs when the pedal is pushed. Very nice original finish. The chrome looks great. The plug housing is cracked and missing a piece but this does not interfere with operation of the machine. The machine sat in the case for years, when I plugged it in it started immediately and runs smooth. The motor runs and the needle goes up and down as it should. The light works. Bobbin cover is in place but no bobbin spool. have not tested the machine with thread and sewn with it. The machine sits flat with all foot pads in place. No service records. Serial number AL000615. Made in the USA. Attachments are a zig-zag and a ruffler. Please review the photos closely for a detailed visual description and read this listing completely.
