Description: Simson Giftware Frosted Rose Tulip Brass Votive 7" Candle Holder Set of 2 ~ RARE Description: I'm particularly fond of lead crystal candlesticks of which I have several listed. I also like brass, pewter, ceramic and/or some combination. However, this particular design with a frosted glass blossom, black & silver bulbous body and the brushed silver pedestal and base is not only uniquely designed, it's so beautifully crafted. Specifically, the two color Elizabethan styled body is micro perforated allowing any background lighting to show through. See images 4, 5 and 6. It's nestled between a pair of simple, but nicely proportioned turned spindles. Although designed for votives, it will accept some tea-lites. (Most are slightly too large in diameter to set flat on the bottom) Note: They will ship with a pair of white, non-scented votives for immediate enjoyment. Condition: Although technically an estate item, they are in near MINT condition in every manner. There are NO chips, cracks, nicks, fleabites, scratches, stains, dents, tarnish or any other cosmetic / structural issues. The frosting on the blossoms remains consistent. The turned brass pedestal and bulbous body may as well be mint. The felt bottoms are intact and secure although one appears to have shrunk slightly as it doesn't quite reach the perimeter.
