Description: Gold Crown Inc. was an American costume jewelry company that was founded in Providence, Rhode Island in 1956 by Italo Rotondo. The company made brass and cast jewelry, and also designed lines for wholesalers. In 1988, Crystal Brands Jewelry Corp. bought Gold Crown Inc., and in 1994, Chase Capital Partners, Lattice Holding, a division of the Monet Group, acquired it. The company closed in the 1990s. This brooch features a black and silver tone signed and made by the brand Gold Crown Inc. Consists of four core segments. The first is a faceted black stone surrounded by silver tone metal accents. The second segment are two arch-shaped metal pieces. The final segment is a small black stone suspended from the larger stone. The final feature are two chains suspended in a arch-inspired loop.
