Description: Veins and pockets of pure raw silver in a beautiful black, golden, red, tan crystalline ore slab. 1800s Ore Knob Copper Mine, Ashe County, North Carolina specimen. A historic registered North Carolina Mine that no longer produces. Cut and hand polished display. Some spots in other slabs of this specimen did contain gold as well as silver this cut only shows silver. Dendritic patterns follow the black crystal seams with silver pockets and veins scattered in the slab. Silver does tarnish and it may look black on your screen. 1 1/2 lb. in weight. 5 in x 3 1/4 in x 7/8 in. Measurements from the longest points with an even thickness. Comes with a photo packing slip with the specimen's origin. Beautiful display or jewelry cabbing.
