The button holes are all the way through the button. To use as fondant button mold it works best to cut the little nubs off the mold and use a toothpick to make the holes in the buttons. All of my molds are poured with a silicone that works wonderfully with polymer clays, resin, plaster, wax, soap, paper cast, low temperature metal alloys. Your embellishment will pop out easily, no need for mold release. The molds can be baked with the clay in them up to a temperature of 395 degrees. This mold is made using Food Grade Silicone.
