Description: SIGNED Sole Survivor: Torpedo Squadron Eight, by George Gay, 1986 revised edition, Midway Publishers. The author flew a TBD-1 Devastator torpedo bomber at Midway during World War II. Book is in Good+ condition with some wear and shelf wear, 2 small dents on front cover and 1 long dent on the back cover from something being pressed against it. Book is signed by George Gay inside the front cover. One page has a tiny tear at the top. Covers and pages are square, clean, and unmarked. Binding is tight. No dust jacket, though I do not think this edition was issued with one. Please see pictures as they are considered part of the condition description. I take numerous photos of the actual item and describe it as accurately as I can so you don't have to risk your buying decision on stock photos and generic condition descriptions.
