Description: In its original Easton Press shipping box and partially trimmed shrink wrap (for purposes of taking photos), signed by Kurt Vonnegut on the declaration page, this is the Limited First Thus Collector’s Edition of Player Piano (Norwalk, CT, The Easton Press, 2002) his first book. Complete with its Easton Press Collectors Notes, an unused Easton Press book plate and Certificate of Authenticity which is also signed and dated by Vonnegut. His wife as witness and the publisher, in black leather with stunning gilt décor, gilt to all page ends, silk moiré end sheets and silk ribbon marker, the book is in As New/Very fine condition. I trimmed the shrink wrap down its center lines to take the photos then placed it back over the book. Exterior and interior are flawless– no scratches, no names, no marks or fading to ends sheets. The COA, Notes and book plate are also As New. The original box is in fine condition structurally though the address envelope has been removed and some paper scarring is visible at its opening. I will place the book back in its Easton box, bubble wrap and bag the box then ship in a separate well-padded box. Buyer pays $6.50 for boxed media shipping in the USA.
