Description: Up for sale is a great Gloria Swanson Autograph that I got in person in 1981 It is to made out to Simon Dayan who is me! It was stored in my safe until I framed it and that’s where it stayed. I got Gloria at an event at the Beverly Hilton in 1981 . I believe it was James Cagney’s birthday. It was drizzling that day. We were where the Limos pulled up in the back. When I moved to the Melrose are of LA with my family in the fall of 1980. My first friends were autograph guys; David Elkouby and Steve Granitz. You can google both of them David does memorabilia and autographs and Steve is a Paparazzi. While going to Fairfax High School I went to events with them because I was the only one who drove. I also had a 35mm Nikon which I used to shoot some events. I sold the pictures to Book City Collectables in Hollywood (you can google that too). This is from my own private collection. There is a picture is of my safe that has all paper items. I've had this for 43 years.
