Description: This bronze sculpture by the famous Mount Rushmore artist & American sculptor Gutzon Borglum (1867-1941) is signed on side (see photo) It has a nice dark surface patina and is in good condition. It is a study for I have Piped Unto You and Ye Have Not Dance. The marble sculpture of this now resides in the Stamford Museum collection and Together with a book "Gutzon Borglum: Artist and Patriot," by Willadene Price. The bronze measures 8 3/4" tall with the base and the base does have an age crack in the wood (see photo).
