They are not mass produced and usually I make only one. This is not a light weight whistle as it is made from solid brass and copper and the parts are soldered together, so it is heavier than many whistles, but I found that I could still hold it and play it quite easily for very long periods of time without getting fatigued in any way by the weight. Since it was kind of on the heavy side I took off the sides of the mouthpiece as well, which looks pretty cool with the copper and brass contrasting. It has a great husky low whistle sound with a bit of chiff in it and the haunting tone that makes low whistles sound so cool. This whistle has been individually hand tuned to concert pitch A440 at 68•F I have been making whistles since 1998 and have been perfecting my designs over the years as I have made and sold over 15,000 instruments.
