The MX396/C is designed for capturing speeches in conference settings, education, telecommunication and more. The capsules feature cardioid polar patterns for maximum surface reflection and off-axis noise rejection. The mounting hardware allows for the attached (unterminated) cable to be side or bottom mounted.
