Description: Shreveport Louisiana Flood RPPC Postcard Disaster May 16 1908. Although the town was not named on the card, the message on back mentions Fred Bowers who was a druggist in Shreveport at that time. Research indicates there was high water on the Red River in May of 1908. The card came from a lot of Louisiana postcards from that area. Condition of postcard is normal with age and storage. May have yellowing/tanning, creases and edge dents, edge/corner wear and other wear, writing on front and/or back. Please look closely at scans or photos for details on condition before buying. Message me with any questions or comments. Please check my shipping and return policy before bidding. Multiple purchases will be combined for shipping. Check my store for other good stuff. Thanks for looking. Shipping - Please be aware that shipping from Alaska can take longer than ebay estimates provide for (especially with standard, media or economy shipping). Slow but reliable. I would appreciate being contacted if the item does not arrive within the estimated delivery date before leaving negative feedback.
