Description: Showboat Hotel Casino Dealers Vintage Printers Block This was one of the nation's most unique resort hotels where visitors are greeted with the fabulous illusion of a Mississippi river boat steaming across the Nevada desert. The Showboat's Hotel, Casino and great stage shows offer a maximum in comfort, convenience and fun. This casino opened in 1954 and closed in 2001. It was located at 2800 E. Fremont Street. This printers block was used for advertising in the Fabulous Las Vegas Magazine that was published from 1949-1973. It has a sticker on edge that says Dealers (Showboat)" It is about 3" X 6 1/2" and is metal attached to wood. It is in good used condition.
