Description: This is a 100% NOS original WWII surplus replacement shovel handle. This is the handle for the "Jeep Shovel" or the ones that fits on the side of the vehicle. These were found in the rafters of a lumber yard in Arkansas. They had purchased them as military surplus after the war and simply forgot about them. These were originally packaged ten per burlap sack. The handle is exactly 30" tip to tip and looks to be made of white oak with a white wash finish on the wood. The grip looks to have been brush painted blue by the supplier. These have the correct bend in the neck for the jeeps. This handle is designed for the strap style shovel head. (See Picture) These are showing a little storage wear from 70 + years of storage but are the real thing. Sold as Singles. We combine shipping.
