Description: Set of two salad plates from the WS George, Cavitt - Shaw, Shortcake pattern. Sold by Sears in the early 1940s. These plates are about 7.25 across. The plates have a thin red stripe around the rim and strawberries spread across it. There are no chips or cracks in either plate. Scratches in some of the strawberries, and yellowing to the glaze in the curves of both plates. Small bumps in glaze, small ones on plate surface (picture 7), larger ones on bottom (pictures 8 and 9). Please look at all the photos and note the issues before ordering. The plates do not have marks stating if they are microwave/oven/stove safe. I recommend not using them for any of the aforementioned. I also recommend hand washing to prevent further scratches to the strawberries. Please message me with any questions.
