This latch hook kit is HUGE- 45' x 75" (the box weighs 14 pounds). That is 3 3/4 FEET by 6 1/4 FEET! The yarn is acrylic. I believe the kit to be complete, the yarn and books were packed just perfectly. But it was from an estate, so there is a small chance that something could be missing.
