Description: This postcard-- made somewhere in Europe, I suspect, and likely Germany-- shows a girl with pink bows and white dress sitting with her loyal and protective friend, a dog, that looks like a Saint Bernard. The postcard was postmarked in August of 1907. It was sent to Sherwood, Oregon in Washington County, and there's a postmark dated August 28 that references Sherwood. There's another postmark indicating that the postcard was received in Cottage Grove, Oregon in Lane County on the preceding day, August 27. After the years the postcard may show some typical wear.
