Description: Everything about this sling says comfort, quality, and style! The leather on this sling is handcrafted by me from a 4-5 oz. black cowhide leather. This gives the suede side of the leather a deeper black color, and the pouch a thicker, more robust grip. I've also added a eye-catching galaxy tiger-eye gemstone button behind the comfy-grip button for a unique and stylish flair. The comfy grip button and gemstone combine to produce a really unique release. The gemstone allows you to build up a bit more force immediately before your release, while the comfy grip buttons provide extra comfort for your fingers during the release. Both of these features are unique and provide far more quality than a traditional knot-ended release cord. Each sling has the following additional features: • The pouch and finger loop are reinforced for durability with nickel grommets (see photos). The grommets on the pouch are also reinforced with rubber o-rings. The added rubber o-rings reinforces the strength of the solid brass grommet and allows the grommet to get a firm grip on the leather without the edge of the grommet pinching the leather too tight. • The cord is made from a sturdy Mil Spec 7 Strand Type III Nylon 550 Parachute Cord and tied off by hand with black Kevlar thread. Slings can be excellent for: Survival situations!o Because rocks are almost everywhere (and therefore not provided in this auction), you’ll have access to an enormous (and cheap) supply of projectiles!o Because the inside of the parachute cord contains 7 white strands of strong nylon material that can be used as fishing string!o Because slings are lightweight and portable and won’t bog down your survival kit!o Providing more velocity and distance than a slingshot.
