Description: This is a personal / individual 1 Cup teapot by Shenango China. Trying to identify the pattern for this personal tea-pot, the only Shenango patterns with heavy blue line on white were U.S. Navy mess patterns. Obviously, this tea pot does not have any of the U. S. Navy logos / emblems. So, this could have been part of a Navy set, or it could just be some other random restaurant. Manufacturing date beneath hallmark is faint -- I believe it is 1944, or possibly 1941. Dimensions: 5" Tall x 3.25" Base diameter x 6" Wide. Condition: Excellent giftable condition. No crazing or discoloration. Paint intact without erosion. No chips, flakes, breaks, mends, repairs, cracks, hairlines, blemishes, or mentionable boo-boo's. Unpacked weight: 15.3 oz.
