Description: An SGC graded EX 5 - 1948/49 Leaf card of Jake Early of the Washington Senators. This example has no creasing, bold printing, nice focus, good registration, excellent centering and clean borders. The corners are consistent with those found on most EXMT+/NM examples, with the exception of slightly more wear on the lower right corner. There is some light toning on the front (not uncommon with cards from this issue). On the back of the card, there is a light amount of printer's ink residue near the center of the card and a tiny spot of green printer's ink to the left of the word "Finished" in the 4th line of the write-up, but otherwise the back is clean with bold printing. Without the printer's ink issue on the back, this card would be a strong candidate for an SGC 5.5 or maybe even an SGC 6 holder. This is a very nice looking card for the grade.
