Description: A graded SGC EX-MT 6 – 1953 Canadian Exhibit card of Edmundo "Sandy" Amoros of the Brooklyn Dodgers as a minor league player for the Montreal Royals. This card was issued 2 years prior to the 1955 Topps rookie card of Amoros. These postcard sized cards were released in Canada and feature the same photos as the Exhibit Supply Co. issues from 1939-1953 for selected major league players and players from the Montreal Royals International League team from 1953 - a minor league affiliate of the Brooklyn Dodgers. There are 64 total cards in the set, but there are color variations. Card numbers 1-32 can be found with either a green or red tint, while card numbers 33-64 can be found with either a blue or red tint. This example has no creasing, nice focus, bold printing, good color and clean edges. The corners are consistent with those found on most EX+/EXMT examples, with the exception of a light ding on the lower right corner. The printing is shifted to the left, but the card still displays well. The back is clean. Even with the minor flaws, this a nice looking card that would not look out of place in a PSA 5 holder.
