Description: A graded SGC VG-EX 4 – 1957 Topps card of Hall of Famer Ed "Eddie" Mathews of the Milwaukee Braves. This example has bold printing, good color, excellent focus and clean borders. The corners are consistent with those found on most EXMT/EXMT+ examples, with the exception of a light ding on the upper right corner that results in a light diagonal surface crease (approx. 1/8" long) near the corner. Otherwise, the card appears to be free of any additional creasing. The printing is shifted slightly to the left, but the card still displays well. The back is clean with bold printing. Without the surface crease, this card would be a strong candidate for an SGC 5.5 or maybe even an SGC 6 holder. Even as is, this is a nice looking card for the grade.
