SGC 3 - 1948 / 1949 Leaf # 125 Andy Pafko RC Chicago Cubs

Description: An SGC graded VG 3 - 1948/49 Leaf rookie card of Andy Pafko of the Chicago Cubs. This is one of two different RC's for Pafko. The other is found in the 1949 Bowman set.This example has bold printing, nice focus, good registration, excellent centering and clean borders. The corners are consistent with those found on most VG+/VGEX examples. There is an extremely light diagonal surface crease (approx. 1/4" long) on the lower right corner that is somewhat difficult to see, even when the card is tilted to the light. There is also a very light vertical surface crease, slightly to the left of the first crease that extends from the bottom edge upward into the red background to the right of the player's name. None of the creasing shows through to the back. The back is clean with bold printing. Even with the flaws, this is still a nice looking card for the grade.
