SGC 1.5 - 1909 T206 Piedmont 350 - Al Burch (Fielding) Brooklyn NL (Dodgers)

Description: An SGC graded FAIR 1.5 - 1909-1911 T206 White Border card of Al Burch of the Brooklyn Superbas (Dodgers). This is the "Fielding" pose variation and features the Piedmont 350 Series (Factory No. 25) ad on the back. This example has bold printing, nice registration, good centering, nice color and bright borders. The corners are consistent with those found on most VGEX+/EX examples, with the exception of slightly more wear on the upper right corner. There is a light diagonal crease (approx. 1 1/2" long) that extends from the left edge near the player's glove to the right edge below the player's shoulder. It does not break the paper and is easier to see on the back. There are a couple of light diagonal surface creases (each approx. 5/8" long) in the left portion of the background located about 3/4" below the top edge. They do not break the paper or appear to go through to the back. Otherwise, the card appears to be free of any other creasing. The card has a slight "tilt" or "diamond-cut", but it still displays fairly well. There are a couple of areas of discoloration on the front (one to the left of the player's face and the other above the player's right arm), but they do not detract too much from the overall eye appeal of the card. On the back, there is small spot of toning near the center of the top border, but otherwise the back is clean with bold printing.
