Description: Set of 5 Bavarian Hand Painted Signed NC Fischer Pink Roses & Gold Bread Plates Pretty set of 5 porcelain bread plates. Each plate is decorated with hand painted pink roses of a blue, yellow, and pink background. With gold gilding along the edge. Unmarked, but signed N. C. Fischer on the base. Probably made in Germany / Bavaria during the early 20th century. I have other pieces listed separately by the same artist that date to the early 20th century. These have some wear to the gilding and one plate has a small in manufacture firing separation extending off the edge, but otherwise these are in good condition with no post manufacture chips or cracks. Each plate measures approximately 6 1/2 inches wide. These are antiques and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the pieces. GS CX
