Description: Up for sale is a set of 5 antique Fukagawa Seiji 6 inch plates. These plates feature a nice simplistic bird and floral design surrounded by a gold trim. All plates are in overall good condition with signs of typical light wear from use, age and storage/display. These were all made in Japan. From inspection/research, we found that these were made by the Fukagawa Porcelain Company. The markings on the bottom indicate that these plates were produced in the time range of 1900 to 1920. The finish of the plate is glossy on both the bottoms and the tops. These may need cleaning prior to use/display as these have been proudly on display for quite some time!
