Description: This listing is for a vintage set of four white bisque porcelain neoclassical wall plaques from Bing & Grondahl / B & G Denmark. Designed after Bertel Thorvaldsen's marble medallions carved in 1836, each depicts one of the four seasons. Each measures approximately 5 3/4" diameter and has holes for wall hanging by wire or ribbon. Backs are flat so can also easily be mounted into a frame. All are in excellent condition without chips or cracks.
