Started photography at the age of 12 under the guidance of his mother who was a professional photographer. Joined the “Club Fotografico de Mexico” till the age of 17. He took many courses in photography and composition. At this same time he joined the “Academia de Arte” in Mexico City to learn pencil drawing and sketching. This complemented his engineering drafting courses in college later on. He continued to do art and photography in his spare time as a hobby while he received his degree in Mathematics, a degree in Aerospace Engineering while in the Air Force, and then a Bachelors of Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Business. Worked for Lockheed Martin for four years and for NASA at Michoud Facility (New Orleans) as his last years as an engineer.
