Description: This is a rare promotional prop (flyer) promoting the "show within the show" of the Original Off-Broadway production of the RON HOUSE, JOHN NEVILLE-ANDREWS, ALAN SHEARMAN, DIZ WHITE and SALLY WILLIS musical revue "EL GRANDE DE COCA-COLA" at the Mercer Arts Center in New York City. (The production opened February 13th, 1973 at the Mercer Arts Center, moved to the Basin Street West in May 1973 and later that year to the Plaza 9 Theatre, running for two and a half years and 1114 performances.) ..... The hilarious "El Grande de Coca-Cola" was performed in gibberish versions of Spanish, French and German. "Senor Don Pepe Hernandez" is a small-time impresario in the town of Trujillo, Honduras. He has promised a parade of international stars, but none show up. Borrowing money from his uncle, the manager of the local Coca-Cola bottling plant, he rents a flea-bitten nightclub (El Club Pepe Hernandez) and hires relatives to play the missing talent.
