There are scenes of lumberjacks, guides such as Old Mountain Phelps, Bill Nye, Alvah Dunning, and famous Adirondackers such as Paul Smith and at least seven self portraits of Stoddard himself! There are guide boats, steamboats such as the Sagamore, Minne-ha-ha and Horican, tugboats, and Stoddard?s legendary sailing canoe Atlantis. There are trains, stagecoaches, and wagons. There is no text, but each image is labeled using Stoddard's original catalogue number and his original titles (sometimes abbreviated).
