Included are scans of over 400 stereo-views, over 220 5.5" x 8.25" Boudoir views, almost 60 7" x 9" Cabinet views, three 8.5" x 12" views, 3 CDV's, 6 odd-sized photographs, over 30 post cards, over 25 books, magazines and brochures by Stoddard, one lithograph, one composite, and five contemporary books about Stoddard. These images include views of the Atlantic coast, New York City, the Lower Hudson River Valley, and hundreds of Adirondack views ranging from Lake George and Glens Falls to the high peaks. There are scenes of lumberjacks, guides such as Old Mountain Phelps, Bill Nye, Alvah Dunning, and famous Adirondackers such as Paul Smith and at least seven self portraits of Stoddard himself! There are guide boats, steamboats such as the Sagamore, Minne-ha-ha and Horican, tugboats, and Stoddard?s legendary sailing canoe Atlantis. There are trains, stagecoaches, and wagons. The images are sorted into folder according to the size of the image (post card, stereo view, boudoir, cabinet, etc) and then subfolders according to location (Lake George, Keene Valley, Ticonderoga, Lake Champlain, Saranac etc). There is no text, but each image is labeled using Stoddard's original catalogue number and his original titles (sometimes abbreviated).
