NO TARNISH This instrument is very easy to play and all notes respond ~~especially ~~with this mouthpiece! The low notes (B, Bb) sound great and if you choose to use the “rollers” to slide down to those notes , even better! This soprano SELMER Mark VI saxophone horn plays in tune in all registers, including altissimo register. This saxophone was manufactured between 1970-1972. It was relacquered by ALLIED MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS in the 1980s ( a United States Company) by their highly professional staff & the lacquer is outstanding.
