Description: Genuine SEGGER J-LINK DEBUG PROBE Version 9.1 13-30 TSEG-JLINK MTI133903877 Free Cross-Platform Software If you've purchased a J-Link, you can download the latest cross-platform software (Windows, Linux, Mac OS X) free. Download to Flash J-Link BASE can program the internal flash of PIC32MX devices as well as external CFI compliant flashes. From a debugger perspective, the flash area can be treated just like RAM, so this feature works with basically any debugger, including GDB. No ROM Monitor/Debug Executive The J-Link does not use a ROM monitor while debugging, which allows for the use of the entire memory space (Flash and RAM) by the application while in both release and debug builds. Space does not need to be reserved for a monitor while debugging. This also makes it possible to debug a release build. Remote Server J-Link Remote Server is a small server application allowing the use of a J-Link remotely via any TCP/IP hardwired (Ethernet) or wireless (WiFi) network. This enables a J-Link to be used even in large development environments where the target hardware is not at the same location as the PC running the debugger. The Remote Server also provides a tunneling mode which allows remote connection to a J-Link from any computer, even from outside the local network. This makes the entire J-Link family of debug probes support use over a WAN. Software Developer Kit (SDK) Available For customers who want to build their own applications using J-Link and for IDE vendors who implement J-Link support for their IDE, SEGGER offers a J-Link SDK which comes with the J-Link DLL + API documentation + implementation samples. The SDK is available for Windows and Linux. J-Link GDB Server The J-Link GDB Server is a remote server for the freely available GNU Project Debugger (GDB) allowing the use of a J-Link with GDB and any toolchain (such as emIDE) that uses GDB as its debugging interface. The J-Link BASE Debug Probe is a USB powered in-circuit debugger supporting PIC32 devices and many others. Supercharge any IDE with this fast debugger. The included SEGGER Flash download technology achieves a performance so fast, it's very close to the maximum speed possible. The debug experience is further improved with a 1MBytes/s download speed to RAM. These speeds are achieved when working under any of the many IDEs which have integrated support for the SEGGER J-Link family, including the MPLAB X IDE. J-Link is a great tool for flash programming and debugging in development and production environments. -USB Interface -2-wire JTAG Support -4-wire JTAG Support -Up to 1.0 MBytes/sec Download Speed to RAM -No ROM Monitor/Debug Executive -Download to Flash -MPLAB X IDE Support -GDB Server -SDK Available -Unlimited breakpoints in flash memory -Supports JTAG chains with multiple devices Package Contents SEGGER J-Link Base 20-pin, 0.1 target ribbon cable SEGGER Microchip Adapter (8.06.09) USB cable Note: The J-Link Microchip Adapter & cable (8.06.09) is included to connect the J-Link to RJ11 connectors, a AU$95.00 value.
