Description: Listing corresponds to the SEND IN CAPACITOR REPLACEMENT SERVICE for the SEGA GAME GEAR (Any model applies). Customer MUST own a console to process this service. For this service we use a combination of CERAMIC and ELECTROLYTIC Capacitors. The Sega Game Gear was firstreleased on 1991 as a fourthgeneration console and competitor for Nintendo's Gameboy DMG. One of the components that requires proper maintenance areitsELECTROLYTIC CAPACITORS. Due to the test of time, all Sega Game Gears require replacement of capacitors. Faulty capacitors leak causing unit's audio, image, and general boot failure. To avoid any damage, we provide the service forreplacement ofcapacitors to preserve this classic console. To ensure quality of capacitor replacement, we use a combination of ceramic and electrolytic capacitors. The reason for ceramic capacitors is because of high stability performance when applied voltage, frequency, and temperature. This ensures a longer life span in comparison to theoriginal electrolytic capacitors. We are a very passionate company that enjoys, and appreciates retro consolepreservation. We are proud of our restoration services and can attest tosuccessfully restored various Sega Game Gears(See pictures of restored Sega Game Gears). THIS SERVICE INCLUDES (LABOR AND PARTS): All newelectrolytic capacitors. For quality insurance, we use CERAMIC andElectrolytic capacitors from Retro Six. Disassemble ofconsole Replacement of oldcapacitors from unit Clean unit and boards (main board, audio board and power board) Soldering new capacitors into the console (ALL MODELS). CERAMIC capacitors will be replaced on main, and sound board. Whileelectrolytic capacitors will be replace on the power board. Reassemble of the console BONUS: If you have a new shell, buttons, and membranes, feel free to send them with the order. For no additional cost, we will change them for you. SHIPPING LOGISTICS (Pricing includes shipping from our offices to customer location) 1. Once order is confirmed; We will send you the address through EBAY for you to send the unit for service (This portion is not included in the listing pricing. Therefore, customer must assume costs for shipping to our facilities). We do recommend any provider with tracking service. 2. Console is received in our offices; We will inform the customer of an ETA for completing of service until console gets ship back. 3. After service is concluded, we will ship back the console with a tracking number. Shipping from our end is included in this listing. Our shipping services do include insurance up to $100.00.Services are for residents of the United States/Canada only and all return shipments must be made to valid addresseswithin the US or Canada. Important Disclaimer: Please take extra care when packaging your consoles for delivery. We suggest using new, heavy duty packaging material, or having a reputable shipping service package it for you. Level Up Repair is not liable for any damages incurred during shipment. Prior to send in our work, we maintain records of our work and disclose the work to our customer prior tosend in the console. If any damage occurs during shipping, we will maintain communication with client to provide viable fair solutions.
