Description: *Signature and Remarks by Beatty and Shooter, Sketch Cover artwork by Matt Brosch* This sketch blank was completely transformed to create a Secret Wars 8homage featuring Knull, Venom, and Carnage in place of black suit Spider-Man. The background characters were changed to symbiotes instead of Marvel heroes, the title and byline were changed, and corner boxes were created in line with the theme of the cover. Even the price box was completed using the closest available conversions of U.S. dollars to Marvel Units and Wakandan Vibranium Dollars. No detail was overlooked when creating this one of a kind piece. This rendition took well over 30 hours to complete, and was done using colored pencil, acrylic and oil paint, and Copic markers. Once finished it was signed and remarked by both Jim Shooter and John Beatty, two of the creators of the original Secret Wars 8. The cost of doing so was $340, bringing the overall cost of the book up significantly (unfortunately). I really hope you enjoy it.
