Description: I don't know if nostalgia for 62 years ago would include having metal dashboards in all the cars! Besides it being kind of odd currently, it wouldn't stick to your wood, plastic, leather, vinyl or other possible materials for the dash--unless you have one of those very cool late 50's/early 60's Dodges that indeed had a metal dash and push buttons instead of a gear shift lever. I rememeber our station wagon that had those when I was about 10 years old. I'm not sure but I think perhaps my mom put one of these on the dash--so she could snuff out the cigarette when she was done. As I recall there was a row of buttons about the size of half a sugar cube (thus a cube with all sides equal as opposed to a rectangular cube) shape, and so, you just pushed the button to shift from drive to second gear or reverse. I'd say go out and buy one so your Space Needle would fit in. It's ok if you don't smoke; it would make your car that much better, putting it right there next to the hula girl. Photos are accurate and it does come in the original box that was intended to be mailed. Doesn't even suggest taping the flap, just add a 4 cent Space Needle first class letter and drop it in the mailbox at the corner by your house. Remember those mail boxes? And a block away the corner pay phone?
