Description: Sears video Arcade II ( Atari 2800 ) A/V Modded Seller Reconditioned Lot2987 Console, one original controller, & third party power adapter. Tested and working. Some light scratches and scuffs from age and use. The console has been cleaned inside and out. Made repairs where needed.(Replaced 3300mf capacitor and filter capacitors related to power and signal.) Controller has had the pressure plates (or dome arrays) replaced, cleaned, and put back together. I have made a standard RCA audio video modification. The old rf module has been removed. A short history of the Sears Arcade II.The Sears Arcade II was the Atari 2800 in Japan. Atari didn't think it would sell well in the U.S.Sears wanted this console to sell in there stores. So like they did with the Sears Tele games, they slapped the Sears Arcade II on it and started selling in there stores for the Christmas season of 83'. Makes it as rear find. I do not come by these to often. Please note: Even with the RCA upgrade that it may not be compatible with your TV.I have found that a stereo tube tv has the best picture with this upgrade.Smart TVs are much more problematic when it comes to the picture quality. You my need to adjust the picture. With some brands even that isn't enough.Pictures 17, 18 19, & 20 show this console working on a insigna smart tv with a 1080p up scaler. The picture is good.I do not recommend this for a VIZIO tv. The picture quality seems to be poor. Even after adjustments. Some general background....... The consoles I sell have been given a full inspection and tested for proper color adjustment, voltage, & capacity. Repairs were made where needed. All adjustments and voltage parameters are in accordance with the Atari VCS Domestic Field Service Manual.Units cleaned inside and out.Cleaned switches, controller ports, and pins.Checked and corrected any cold solders and loose connections. From there I correct the orange trim with a paint that has been color-matched.Then reassemble and give it a good polish. If I list a unit with an original controller: I disassemble, remove and clean contacts, then replace any worn-out pressure plates. From there I correct the orange trim with a paint that has been color-matched.Then reassemble and give it a good polish. For games: I clean the contacts with either alcohol or a deoxidizing solution. (If I have to use sandpaper, I do not list it with a console.)If cover art is loose I will glue it back the best I can.Outside of cart is cleaned with a multipurpose cleaner. Several man hours go into every Atari I recondition.I have been been a technician for the Air Force and in the private sector for over 12 years. Thank youNotice: International buyers outside the U.S.A. and Canada:Please take into consideration that if you are buying a vintage video game console that there are other costs involved. You will most likely need a power adapter from 110v to 220v and to match whatever is your wall outlet configuration. Also, a NTSC To PAL SECAM converter. The RF signal is different with different regions. These are the most common issues. Just please keep this in mind before you buy...Thank you
