It's very rare to find an example from this region as intact/readable as this one is! Condition: In Acceptable pre-owned condition: A book with obvious wear. May have some damage to the cover but integrity still intact. The binding may be slightly damaged but integrity is still intact. Possible writing in margins, possible underlining and highlighting of text, but no missing pages or anything that would compromise the legibility or understanding of the text. Make no mistake, this is a VERY fragile book which has seen significant wear over the past nearly 100 years. Cover and pages are naturally dog-eared and heavily discolored due to age and use. The pages are delicate and should be handled with care. It is speculated that someone (MANY years ago) reinforced the binding on the front and back (vertically) with glue, which has degraded over time. Much of the back cover has torn away from the binding but it is still intact and should stay in a state of arrested decay with the proper care and handling. While the binding/spine is mostly still intact, there are a couple of areas where the pages are coming loose (see photos for example); however, the colors, graphics, artwork, and period-specific subject matter throughout this book are just incredible.
