And the transformers and active circuitry provide enough gain for any source you need to mic. VERSATILE CUSTOM SHOCK MOUNT The VR2's custom-built shock mount allows not only for isolation from mechanical vibration, but also for versatile, flexible mic placement. The lower portion of the mount can be centered inside the mount for extra protection, or flip to outside the mount so the VR2 can reach underneath a snare or be pressed flat against a speaker grille cloth.
