It featured Snagglepuss and Mildew Wolf as announcers and pitted cartoon teams called the Scooby Doobies, Yogi Yahooeys, and Really Rottens against one another in unconventional sporting events that took place around the globe. The Scooby Doobies team was composed mainly of 1970s cartoon characters like Scooby-Doo, the Blue Falcon, Dynomutt, and Captain Caveman; the Yogi Yahooeys was made up of 1950s and 1960s characters such as Huckleberry Hound, Yogi Bear, and Boo-Boo Bear; the Really Rottens included villains like Mumbly, the Dalton Brothers, and the Creepleys.
