Description: This auction is for the item pictured. It is an original Schwinn Krate bike front springer fork off of a vintage bike. It has a sizable dent in the main fork on the kickstand side…..pictured. I think it would be correct for any Schwinn Krate bike but the head tube hardware piece has star symbols on it to signify 1970. Depending on what year you need, to make it year matching correct for your bike, I may have a good substitute head tube part with the year you want. These forks do not come with a brake cable clamp or the fender hanger. The Atom front rim stop pin is attached and included. These forks are in average condition with a little wear, some nicks, scratches and some small pitting spots with chrome loss. There are a couple places with larger spots of missing chrome…..pictured. Overall, this is an average looking rim that would be correct for your 1972-73 Krate bike. The item in the pictures is the item you will receive.
