Built by Bruce Sexauer for Eric Schoenbergand completed in September of 2004, it was sent to its original owner in Japan and stayed there until Fall of 2021, when it found its way back to SchoenbergGuitars in Tiburon, CA. Which is when I purchased it. In February of 2022 it was Plek’d and set up by GeoffLuttrell at SF/Sonoma County Guitarworks. Action was set to 70/60, as I am avery “Handsy” player like Eric and rarely use a pick. An LR Baggs Anthem pickupwas installed at that time. At some time in its life a small grain-crack wasprofessionally repaired in the Brazilian Rosewood in the back, lower bout,treble side. I took this guitar to Bruce’s shop so hecould look it over. He verified his signature under the top and said it was aspectacular instrument in excellent condition. He recommended an asking price of $16-18K, and said it would be around $30,000 to make it today, IF he could source the wood...
