Description: I have here for sale a SCARCE condensed, biographical dictionary handbook entitled A DICTIONARY OF MUSICIANS 1/6. This first edition was published by COCKS, London. It was aimed at schools to give just the briefest of information on Musicians including their birth and death dates and where, what they played, their best known compositions. As many of the other dictionaries that were available might have been extremely bulky and overwhelming. Bound in purple buckram flexible boards. Gilt title lettering on the front boars. Some wear on the spine. Board covers are a little stained but internally the book is clean and bright. This book is in good condition, tightly bound with no loose or missing pages 52pp plus [4]pp - publishers list. 19cm x 13cm. Postage and packing : I know that you will be looking forward to receiving your order, each book is carefully wrapped in packing paper ( I have changed from bubble wrap to try and reduce my use of plastic) and posted in a Jiffy bag if size permitting, if not it is double wrapped in corrugated cardboard, brown paper and then securely taped. To keep the cost of the postage down to the most economical level per book, you may consider buying more than 1 item from my eBay account. You can then request a combined postage cost and I will combine the items into the fewest parcels as possible - saving you money :) My main posting days are Monday and Thursday ie.
