Description: This is an amazing piece of history! This paperweight contains a sample of oil from "Dammam No. 7", the first commercial oil well in Saudi Arabia drilled in 1938 Dammam no. 7 produced 32 million barrels of oil between 1938 - 1982. This is rare lucite hourglass-like sample of dammam no. 7 light crude oil, Perhaps the only of its kind. When flipped over you can see the oil drain into the bottom chamber from the top, there are two small cylinder channels on each side which the oil also flows through. 4” height x 2” width Condition: there are some scratches on the exterior and some imperfections on the inside, such as some oil that seems to be more solidified and coating the interior walls and some fuzzy like marks in the lucite. I tried to get the best photos I could to show off the condition and imperfections. Please take a close look at all pictures for a more detailed view and to determine condition before buying Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions about this listing Thanks for checking out my items!
