Description: Sarracenia "Lunchbox" x "Johnny Wilkerson" - Large bare root plant with 12"+ pitchers This plant is cross between two sarracenia clones selected for exceptionally vibrant colors. You will be getting one mature division with multiple growth points, similar to the one in the first photo. The second photo shows the plant's rhizome during winter dormancy. We grow these outdoors all year round in zone 9. They will go dormant in the winter and can tolerate frost. You?re responsible on checking the weather in your area before buying a plant. Too hot or too cold could kill the plant. If weather conditions are unfavorable, please request that the local post office HOLD FOR PICKUP. We will need to write your phone number on the package so that the post office can contact you when the package arrives. We want all our customers to be happy and satisfied with their purchase. Care Information:Distilled, reverse osmosis, or rain water only! These plants do NOT tolerate any minerals or nutrients. They can be potted in a mix of peat and perlite, or sphagnum moss. The plant you receive will have sphagnum moss wrapped around the roots. Please see my other auctions if you need carnivorous plant potting mix. The soil should be kept damp at all times, but not waterlogged. A 6" pot (half gallon) or larger is recommended for this plant. I have hundreds of plants, too many to list!
