Description: This includes two prints by Diana Bryer. Both mats have the artist's signatures in pencil. Santa Fe Cat Woman is framed and measures 12" by 10". The Forest Fairies Spell is not framed and the mat shows some damage when it fell out of its frame (this damaged happened 10 years ago, and this has been in storage since), and some staining on the mat. It measures 10" by 8". Please see photos. Diana Bryer paints the people and rich history of Northern New Mexico. She draws on the elements of folk art, medieval tapestries, Indian and Persian Santa Fe Cat Woman miniatures, and Japanese woodblock prints to create her own intricate story-telling canvases. Our ancient forests are being cut down at an alarming rate. When these centuries-old trees are gone, not only will the earth lose all plant and animal species that co-exist in harmony with these forests, but the air we all breathe will be adversely affected. May we preserve what is left of old-growth for all life and the future of our children - Diana Diana Bryer's imagery is based on the celebration of life and our relationship to each other, the animal kingdom, the changing seasons, and our Mother Earth.
