There are 2 chips, one on the bottom of Pinky almost completely out of view on the bottom of the shaker, and a very small one at the top of Blue Boy - see pics. You will also need a half-inch replacement plug for the bottom of Blue Boy if you intend to actually use the shakers for table service. Besides that, the shakers are not crazed and look great.
