Description: OFFERED ... handcrafted fine pewter dish/bowl by Salisbury Pewter's, part of the "Images of America" collection, a great piece for any collector or fan of American history. The center of the bowl is decorated with an intricate etching of the Great Seal of the United States, the official emblem and heraldic device of the United States of America, adopted by the Continental Congress on June 20, 1782. Other etchings around periphery of the Great Seal are circular bands with spaced "X's", and, "United States Congress." There is decorative beading at top, under rim, visible from exterior. The bowl measures 5 1/2" in diameter (across); 1 3/8" in height. The bowl is in good condition; surface wear commensurate with regular use as trinket bowl for possibly coins or keys. Nice patina.
